The movie which was released to the cinema about a week ago has earned over a hundred million Naira in box office but some of the contributors to that large amount are crying for a refund on the grounds that they did not get value for their money.
Top Nigerian Singers, Wizkid and Davido who many thought are having serious issues, over what folks tagged as “The Battle of Supremacy”, were seen performing together at Wizzy’s concert, #WizkidTheConcert this morning.
Staboy, Wizkid joined Davido to perform “Fia” at the concert which took place December 24 at Eko Hotel, Lagos.
We would recall that Davido, while receiving his award at The Future Awards Africa 2017, had said that he is not fighting anyone in the industry as many believe
Also in an Interview with Sunday Scoop, Wizzy, as he is fondly called made it known he does not see Davido as a rival as his attention is placed on making good music.
In his words;
“I don’t dwell on things like that. Music is my focus, not rivalry. It’s all about making good music for me, and I believe that the sky is wide enough for all to fly. This year has been very great for me and I am thankful to God and all my fans. I have been very busy and it has been a roller-coaster for me. I don’t take it for granted, and I will always put my best into all that I do. It is about showcasing Nigeria to the world in the proper light, and I am glad that there is now more focus on African music. There are indeed a lot of talents out here.”
Award-wining Nigerian singer, Davido has had a fantastic run in music and career wise in 2017, yet he is not relenting as he just announced he has joined the First Bank of Nigeria family as an Ambassador.
The “FIA” crooner ttok to his Instagram page to share the goodnews by posting the a photo at the event.
He wrote:
“Me and my new family @firstbanknigeria !! ⭐️! So many new projects and ideas coming ! We also can’t wait for DEC 27TH!! 🔥🔥”
Meanwhile, the bank has taken over sponsorship of the grand finale of Davido’s “30 Billion Concert” scheduled for December 27, 2017 in Lagos.

The record label was founded by iyanya and Ubi Franklin but is now managed by Ubi Franklin since the departure of “IYANYA”. The group consists of different talented artiste such as, Tekno, Selebobo, Emma nyra Lots of hits were released from the the label notably from tekno which consists of “YAWA” and “only one”.
4.G Worldwide.
G-Worldwide Entertainment is a record label founded by Festus Ehimare, also known as Emperor Geezy; the record label signed Kiss Daniel as its first recording/performing artist in 2013 but Kiss Daniel Left the label late this year, they then signed another raggae and RnB artiste Sugarboy in 2015 both went on to release hit singles.
This year was in no doubt a very good year for the label despite kiss-daniel having left the label due to certain issues.But before then he released nice singles which received massive airplay nation wide such as “yeba” and “Kilamity”
3. Mavin Records
Mavin is a Nigerian owned record label owned by record producer Don Jazzy. The label came to existence following the closure of Mo’ hits records which was also owned by don jazzy and D’banj.
The label consists of recording artists such as Tiwa Savage, Dr SID, D’Prince, Di’Ja, Reekado Banks and Korede Bello.
This year has actually been a great year for the label,with their artistes releasing several hit singles ranging from tiwa savage “all over”,”malo” to reekado bangs “easy jeje”,each of the singles was a hit.Indeed,it was really a great year for Mavin records
2.YBNL
YBNL is the second studio album by Nigerian hip hop recording rap artist Olamide. The record label is fast becoming the most populous and widely accepted Record label.
The Label boasts of so many talented people which include musicians, Dj’s and Producers like ‘Lil Kesh’, Viktoh, Zino, Adekunle Gold, BBanks, Young John, Pheelz and Dj Enimoney.
This year has no doubt been their year they have also had hit singles like Olamide “wo” which was the most searched song on oogle this year,followed by lil kesh “no fake love” which received massive air play through out this year.

Davido Music WorldwideLtd-Is A record label co-founded by Nigerian Musician Davido The label consists of B-Red, Sina Rambo, Davido, Danagog, Mayorkun, King Special, DeeKay, Mayorkun and Dremo.
Sultry Nigerian singer, Seyi Shay, broke the Internet when a picture of her dressed in a transparent outfit surfaced on the web.
She told Saturday Beats recently she was so proud and comfortable wearing the outfit.
“I wore that dress in New York. I dare not wear such in Nigeria. New York is one of the most fashion inclined cities in the world. The dress was made by Sokayna who is a crème de la crème designer in the world. He is Senegalese but he is doing very well for himself. Recently, Rihanna, Madonna and even Nicki Minaj, wore the same jacket I got from him. They all shop from him so it was an honour and a privilege to wear his piece. Why would I say no to such an offer? Even if the dress were a string, I would have still worn it. Also, if I had worn anything underneath the dress, it would have spoilt the design, it was not designed for anything to be worn underneath it,” she said.
Apart from the fact that she has become more daring with her sense of style, Saturday Beats wondered aloud if the singer did cosmetic surgery as her backside, which used to be very flat has added some massive flesh.

To that, the singer admitted that having a bigger backside was one of the good things that happened to her this year. She further revealed that she almost went for a surgery to increase her boobs but later changed her mind. The songstress said,
“I did not get this big bum through injections or surgery. If I did not do surgery on my boobs, is it my backside I would then operate on? Someone advised me to be doing squats. Till now, I spend most of my time in the gym. Having big buttocks was one of the good things that happened to me this year. I do 100 squats in the morning, in the afternoon I do 50 and then at night, I do another 100. It hurts a lot but it is worth it; I would not lie about that, the pain is worth it.
“I have been getting a lot of compliments since my backside added. I wanted to do a boob job but I changed my mind and the reason is that I realised that I could fit into almost anything especially sample sizes from designers. One of the things that Sokayna complimented me for when I was in New York was my body. He said that his clothes were not specifically made for African bodies but I have an extraordinary body and I would be ‘finished’ if I did a boob job. Everything fits, so I am happy with what God gave me.”
While chatting with Saturday Beats, Sheyi described this year as a rough one while thanking God for miracles.
“I am already excited about next year because, in March, I am going to release my EP. This 2017 has been a bit rough for me but it has been full of miracles. The highest point for me this year, professionally, has to be when I was featured on the cover of New York Times, which is a global newspaper. Also, one of my favourite songs, Yolo Yolo, was released this year. This year was when I met my new manager, Kamal Ajiboye, and we would work together for a very long time, by God’s grace,” she said.

So we all know the rift that is between Davido and Wizkid when it comes to music, these duo have never been on good terms in the history of entertainment in Nigeria. It is like saying the opposite of Wizkid is Davido and Vice Versa.
Towards the end of 2017, Wizkid and Davido has been sweeping entertainment awards like it’s their right, both locally and internationally, that even drew the attention of dignitaries in Nigeria to congratulate these guys, so we can confidently say they are doing well individually.
But what baffles me is that these guys behave like “arc enemies” & sometimes these young lads take selfies together, board same flight and share pictures of them all smiling and laughing with each other, or could this be publicity stunt ?
Davido even came out recently to make it clear to everyone that he isn’t in any fight with anybody. In his words ‘I no dy fight anybody ooo!’. He said it shortly after claiming the future award for Music 2017.
Now if they can be strong individually in the entertainment sector, imagine them coming together and dropping a single, Mehnnn! This sure will be a banger.

Since his emergence on the scene 7-years ago, Wizkid has effortless created a whole village and settled in the hearts of millions around the globe.
This was achieved with his talent, persona and his sound but even with this, many still can not stand the singer.
Some are of the belief that the COME CLOSER crooner is all shades of fake, all level of petty and all degrees of ‘non-supportive.’
One of the many who believes this of Wizkid is twitter user is Kevin Odanz, who took to the social media platform to air his thoughts about Wizkid tweeting:
Wizkid has a special type of talent. Not the type I vibe to, but people vibe to it and that’s cool. I just see him as a fake person who’s all about himself. His “support” for other artists, Banky W’s wedding(s), competition with Davido reveals so much about him.

DMW boss, Davido’s winning run in 2017 is yet to stop as the singer emerged winner in the “Musician Of The Year” category at recently held future awards in Lagos.
The Future Awards Africa is aimed at acknowledging and inspiring young Nigerians making a difference through creativity social enterprise and social good. The event took place at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
During his accpetance speech, Davido addressed the issue of beef with Wizkid which is part of the headlining issues as far as his 2017 music journey is concerned. According to him, all is well with him and everyone else in the industry.
